It’s #DENIMWEEK !!! We started with a refashion tutorial, and today is all about my thrifted denim outfit.
I love denim. Denim jeans, shirts, jackets, vests, I love it all and I’ve thrifted multiple of each. Perhaps I should have styled several outfits with all the denim pieces I’ve thrifted over the years. Instead I thought “what says ‘I love denim’ more than a head-to-toe denim outfit?“

I got this denim shirt on my latest #FridayFinds adventure! I actually went in to find a long sleeve denim shirt because I wanted a new one (my old one is a little snug), and ended up finding soooo much more!
I am also so very happy with these jeans. They were given to a friend of mine for free, and she gave them to me for free. They fit perfectly. AND they are J Brand, which means they are made well and will last me a long, long, long, long time! YAY!
I really liked wearing this all-denim outfit! It’s definitely a little different, but I think adding my black skinny belt and some red lipstick kept me from looking too “down on the farm”. Apparently my husband liked this outfit on me too – he came home, took one look at me and quickly asked “Can I take you out?” To which I replied “Of course babe, but can you take some pictures of me first?” HA!
He is so kind to oblige me, though he did keep on making me laugh, so much so that in 90% of the pictures I’m either cute laughing or mid-laugh to where my face looks contorted. These are the better of them
Here is the cost breakdown of my outfit:
- Thrifted Christopher & Banks LS Denim Shirt - $4.49;
- Thrifted black skinny belt-$0.50;
- J Brand Boot Cut Jeans – Free/Gift
- (Not seen) Black Suede Boots from JCPenney - $19.99;
Total Cost of Outfit: $24.98!!
I then tried to switch up my outfit by belting over the shirt at the waist.

I ended up wearing it the original way for our date! We decided to try some place new and checked out NY Pie over in Nashville West. It was DELICIOUS! We ate an entire 18″ pizza. Well, minus one slice. Then we met up with Ellen and her husband for some cheesecake and a movie!

What do you think about my all-denim outfit?
Hope you are having a great week and stay tuned for another denim post on Friday!
