I am the very happy wearer of a brand new pair of pants! These red skinny jeans are so beautifully vibrant, and I even “cropped” them myself!
go to our Facebook Page where I showed you how easy this was to do!Now, as happy as I am about these red pants, I am even happier about my new roommate!
My sister Nicole (who took all of these pictures for me, thanks by the way!) just returned from living in Ecuador for a year (you can read about her adventures here), and is living at the house with J and I for awhile. I absolutely LOVE having her around. She is thoughtful, observant, and so sweet. Our tastes and preferences are uncannily similar, and we love to do most of the same things! For example, she is a thrift store junkie like me! The bonus of having her here is the easy access I have to her wardrobe. All of the items she’s thrifted over the years are of course of particular interest, like this pretty sheer top she got at Park Avenue Thrift in Memphis for only two dollars! Don’t you just love the print?!
After we’d eaten at Taco Mamacita, (one of my favorite restaurants, as it has an extensive Vegan menu and a Gluten-Free one too! Kudos!) We went exploring in the mall area of Edgehill Village which houses so many interesting and unique shops!
This is why I love having Nicole take my blog pictures. She tells me to stand on a table, and after shrugging (and a little whimpering…I was in heels, folks!) I reluctantly climb on up, and what do you know end up loving the picture! This pose is what I call my “I’m-so-chill-right-now-because-I-hardly-spent-any-money-on-this-killer-outfit” pose. ![]()

Here is the cost breakdown of my outfit:

- Nine West Gold Shoes from Marti & Liz - $13.00;
Total Cost of Outfit: $37.00!!
I am loving the colored denim trend. Between these red ones and my mint green ones I wore here, I may not be wearing many other bottoms for a bit!
Do you like to wear colored jeans?
