This kind of sign is sure to pull in a few shoppers, wouldn’t you say?
If you’ve read our blog for very long, you know we are huge fans of Thriftsmart. Located on Nolensville Rd, Thriftsmart turns donated items into profit that benefits several charities, including New Hope Academy, Mercy Children’s Clinic, African Leadership, and The Belize Project.
Thriftsmart‘s prices are a little higher than some thrift stores, but we still frequent because we have never gone in without purchasing something awesome! They always have good quality items, and so visiting here is a sure bet that you’ll find something that works for you. Also, they frequently have sales, like the 50% off the entire store sale we went to a couple of weekends ago.
One thing we love about Thriftsmart is that even during their sales, the place is organized, color coded, and near-perfectly categorized by size! It makes looking for a good fit an absolute breeze. Look at all the pretty colors!
Ellen can always be found discovering something interesting or random…
Thrift shopping with someone helps keep your purchasing in check. You have someone to say “No, sorry but, that doesn’t look unique and vintage-y, it looks gross and like its about to fall apart, put it back” or “If you don’t get that I’m going to, it’s INCREDIBLE!”
We ended up finding so many great things: blouses, a black dress shirt for Ellen’s husband B, a stovetop popcorn popper, 4 settings of square glass dishes, black harem pants that fit Ashley perfectly, jewelry, AND MORE!
Now we wouldn’t brag about our exceptional luck at a storewide thrift sale if we didn’t know that there is going to be ANOTHER storewide 50% off sale this upcoming Sunday (that’s two days away, folks)! That’s right, get yourself to Thriftsmart on Sunday, June 24th, from 12-6pm, and hopefully you’ll find some great deals like we did!
see ya there!
p.s.- we were not compensated in any way nor did we receive any incentive for writing this post. Our love for Thriftsmart is genuine and the result of multiple productive shopping experiences at the store . Just in case you were curious!
